Japanese folk dance
Moorings Presbyterian Church,
791 Harbour D., Naples
Florida resident, Satomi Hirano will lead a performance of both a Japanese folk and Samurai dance. This type of dance is uniquely different from any western or european style dancing. After the dance portion of the program, we will try our hand at Kanzashi, hair ornaments made with fabric much like origami and used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. The meeting is free and the public is welcome to attend, however, an advance reservation for non-members is required by sending an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
